Good health and great fitness. What’s it worth?
What if I could sell you a perfect body for $500,000?… any upgrades are $100,000 ; )
Who knows, we may actually see this someday in our future as far as fitness goes.
On the surface, fitness can seem superficial, material and only about looking good, being sexy and impressing others… vanity.
I can say from experience that fitness success at the superficial, material level is short lived at best.
There’s something else that goes along with being fit…
Either being fit or seeing someone who you consider to be fit, has the feeling of a job well done.
Only hard work, dedication, determination and things like focus can produce it. That’s the message fitness sends to each and every one of us, whether we see it on TV, in magazines, in person or anywhere else.
Deep down, we know and feel the effort and discipline necessary to achieve that success and have a reverence for high levels of fitness. Especially those who have achieved and maintain life-long health and fitness.
Why?
Because true, life-long, lasting fitness and health, is really about YOU, being better than you were, improving yourself, inside AND out.
As you continue to be successful in this endeavor, it’s about achieving something really great and worthy of recognition (even if you are the only one to recognize it).
So, if I could offer you a perfect body and great health for a set price (in exchange for a certain amount of money), you may think that you would take the offer.
Maybe a lot of people would…
It actually removes the very best part from the fitness experience… the journey.
When you truly get involved with the process of life-long fitness… self improvement, I believe that you are also glad to know that what you are achieving, the journey you are taking, cannot simply be bought.
Sometimes I like to use Oprah Winfrey as an example.
Don’t mistake what I’m saying, I think very highly of Oprah. She has achieved so much. She envisions a business idea and almost immediately it manifests. That’s a level many of us aspire to achieve.
But, when it comes to her fitness, Oprah is very challenged. I admire the fact that she openly shares it with the world.
Financially, Oprah is one of the biggest success stories on the planet. She of all people could buy a perfect body if there were such a thing for sale.
But there isn’t.
She knows that it comes from something other than money.
Many fitness companies try to strengthen the bond between money and fitness. In essence, they try to get you to believe that all you need to do is buy their product in order to be fit.
They promise the world, appealing to our sense of “have it all for next to nothing, RIGHT NOW!”. But, it’s just not true and is a poor representation of what real health and fitness is.
The truth is that you do not need any money to be fit. You do not need to buy one single thing.
All You need to do is decide. Once you have made your decision… truly made your decision, what you desire will be yours.
The rewards of such a decision can be immediate AND never ending as long as you continue your journey.
Rewards like feeling healthier, happier, more confident and more peaceful.
Yes, you can also look forward to a thinner midsection, tone, tight muscles and a spring in your step of lightness and mobility.
You cannot pursue and achieve great, lasting health and fitness and not change yourself for the better in the process.
Your decisions shape your thoughts and actions and in turn, what you choose to do on a daily basis.
It’s really easy and yet can prove to be very hard. All of the money in the world can’t buy it and actually no money at all is necessary to obtain it.
Fitness… it really is an amazing journey, and you can take it any time you want.. for free.
My family and I are here to show you the path, as best we know and continue to make the decision to be really fit and healthy ourselves. You are welcome to come with us anytime.
